Watching and enjoying live dance and ballet events is so inspiring and enjoyable for young children. We’re really happy to hear about and post links to any performances suitable for children, particularly for children under 5 years. The Tortoise and the Hare by Northern Ballet. Following the sell-out successes of Ugly Duckling, Three Little Pigs and Elves & the Shoemaker and the TV adaptations for CBeebies, Northern Ballet bring their magic to Tortoise & the Hare. Various dates util October 2016.

With its whimsical flights of the imagination, eclectic music and joyful dance, Alice in Wonderland is delightful entertainment for all ages. Touring throughout the country from April to June 2017.

Wee Hansel and Gretel by Scottish Ballet. Join Hansel, Gretel and a magical ballerina on an enchanting journey into the woods filled with adventure, imagination and festive charm. This specially adapted hour long performance features the company’s dancers accompanied live by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra. The perfect way for young families to discover the magic of ballet.
